On January 26th, Shenzhen Qianhai Cooperation Zone Linhai Guiwan River Bridge, the first domestic high-vanadium sealed steel wire rope sling bridge constructed by China TIESIJU Civil Engineering Group Steel Structure Construction Company, was officially opened to traffic.
The bridge, with a total length of approximately 493 meters and a design speed of 50 kilometers per hour. It is a through bridge with special-shaped arch and beam. The total weight of steel box girder and arch rib is about 12500 tons. A total of 27 pairs of high-vanadium sealed steel wire rope slings have been installed in the bridge,marking the first application of such material in the construction of a vehicular bridge in China.
